We are watching CDC recommendations and developing news, and will update our barn community as necessary in coordination with the city of South Pasadena and LA County. Please respect the following rules to avoid full closure of the barn. Effective immediately:

  • San Pascual Stables is closed to the public. Access is only permitted to boarders, riders, trainers, employees, farriers, and vets.
  • Do not bring groups/friends/family members to the barn. For minors, only one parent should accompany them at a time.
  • Do not drop your child off and leave them at the barn for socialization/hanging out. Barn visits are strictly for riding/caring for horses.
  • Private owners must to use their own grooming materials. Do not use the grooming equipment of employees – we must limit their risk of outside exposure.
  • Do not walk horses outside the property. No horses in the parking lot.
  • Do not come to the barn if you are ill, have flu-like symptoms, or have recently traveled to any COVID-19 hotspot countries (full list available here).
  • We have closed off the barn to the public at all entrances with signs in coordination with the city of South Pasadena. Please do not remove or displace signs or rope.

Thank you in advance for your compliance with these rules. It is our goal, after the rain, to tentatively reopen while maintaining the safety of our employees, clients, and horses. At that time, training group sizes will be limited to avoid crowding. Rings are currently closed. We will set up a schedule with all trainers to spread out training times and send it out before reopening.
